Sessiz's Jan Filanowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan Filanowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The supporters of Sessiz booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball. A throw-in in the 20th minute of the game was made by Osman Ali Ünlüer with Güntekin Ayalp as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. It was a well-played corner which Saadettin İnanç managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Mahir Yağızer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Utkan Kutyan fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sessiz's protests and gave Utkan Kutyan a yellow card for diving instead. Utkan Kutyan hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The Paraguay players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sessiz were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Pardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Umut Özkutlu kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match.
