Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Lipochσrion FC's Necat Baysal got a free kick in the 5th minute. Nikos Stavrou took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Theagenis Giannou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 10th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikos Stavrou, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Nikos Stavrou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Nikos Stavrou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Lipochσrion FC's Theagenis Giannou got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Lipochσrion FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jose Correa was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 26 minutes into the match, Nikos Stavrou had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nikos Stavrou was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Nikos Stavrou made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Nikos Stavrou took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Stavrou in the 39th minute of play. Nikos Stavrou scored 0-6 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Theagenis Giannou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nikos Stavrou went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score.

In the 54th minute Nikos Stavrou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Stavrou in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fanis Peros was slow to take the kick. During this time Lipochσrion FC's players had a chance to rest. Fanis Peros made a great header on Lipochσrion FC's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 70th minute of play forced Lipochσrion FC's goalkeeper Theagenis Giannou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Nikos Stavrou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Nikos Stavrou sent off a good shot on target. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Stavrou in the 79th minute of play. Nikos Stavrou struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lipochσrion FC. Nikos Stavrou's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nikos Stavrou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. 87 minutes into the match, Lipochσrion FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Theagenis Giannou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Nikos Stavrou got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Theagenis Giannou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Lipochσrion FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lipochσrion FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
