An unexpectedly hard shot by Célio Leite in the 8th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Altamora FC's goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Tiburcio Liher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Altamora FC's Tiburcio Liher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Célio Leite came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
