Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Dirie FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Gaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dirie FC's Sonny Hedlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 8th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Dirie FC got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Hård. 13 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sonny Hedlund. Dirie FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 17th minute of play forced Dirie FC's goalkeeper Sonny Hedlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Pawel Niedziela sent off a good shot on target.
