Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Julian Murillo got the match started through his kick off. Tiburcio Liher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 5th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Alonso Berganza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tiburcio Liher quite easily take care of the ball. Célio Leite's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 21st minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Liher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute of the match Peru got a corner. Altamora FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luz Tejedor made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Altamora FC's Tiburcio Liher managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Peru booed when Altamora FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Valverde didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Célio Leite notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiburcio Liher. Tiburcio Liher dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The throw-in from Rodrigo Leão in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Célio Leite struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altamora FC. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Célio Leite to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Célio Leite in the 53rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Higino lago who took care of the corner kick. Higino lago made a great header on Altamora FC's corner, it was just that Peru's Rolando Noboa managed to reach the ball for a save. Altamora FC made a substitution. Nicasio Milian replaced Evaristo Cortez. Altamora FC made a substitution. Aleix Vidal replaced Teófilo Estrela. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Célio Leite in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiburcio Liher saved Altamora FC from getting behind. A sloppy throw-in by Rodrigo Leão in the 72nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. In the 80th minute of the match, Julian Murillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tiburcio Liher saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tiburcio Liher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Despite being the better team, Peru failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
