The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute, Damazy Hodas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 46th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bogumil Penc was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Ciborek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Damazy Hodas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Hodas in the 54th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damazy Hodas, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damazy Hodas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Guillermo Mariano charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Mariano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Parzymiechy Kujawskie's Herbert Domeracki was substituted for Wiktor Dziedelonis. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Parzymiechy Kujawskie:s goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Ciborek in the 82nd minute of play. Fabian Ciborek got in the 82nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Jonathan Ferrant handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Domeracki in the 83rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
