Bruno Beldad kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Cláudio Donatello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The attack was good, but when Wilson Lima in the 34th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bem Bolado's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Maria Branco came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute, Turabi Paksan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cláudio Donatello during the 40th minute. The Bem Bolado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Maria Branco should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute, Marcelinho do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Bem Bolado fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Bem Bolado's Cláudio Donatello looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 74 played minutes Bem Bolado got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Donatello. 75 minutes into the match, Bem Bolado's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but José Maria Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. José Maria Branco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Bem Bolado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilson Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José Maria Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 93rd minute of the match. When Turabi Paksan fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bem Bolado's protests and gave Turabi Paksan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Turabi Paksan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
