The BK Nerysminne fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when BK Nerysminne's Maxim Gogea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 16 minutes into the match, Maxim Gogea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maxim Gogea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 19 minutes into the match, BK Nerysminne's Maxim Gogea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Zorita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 26 minutes, Mateo Leguizamo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the BK Nerysminne players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th minute, Abram Luque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Curbelo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxim Gogea in the 40th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxim Gogea in the 42nd minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Gogea came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joshua Curbelo charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joshua Curbelo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of BK Nerysminne booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Curbelo didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 64th minute Maxim Gogea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th play minute Maxim Gogea came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ricardo Zorita. 1-8. Maxim Gogea had several of the El Salvador's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 71 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-9 score and a disappointed Ricardo Zorita as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ricardo Zorita was a little too slow when Maxim Gogea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-10. 82 minutes into the match, BK Nerysminne's Gao Fei Zheng sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Zorita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, BK Nerysminne's Maxim Gogea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Zorita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. BK Nerysminne's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hector Levi in the 91st minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Nisse Pe heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Eliseu Calado scored 1-15 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The El Salvador fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. BK Nerysminne were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
