In the 22nd minute of the match, Mattijs Robijns tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rolando Noboa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind El coca fc's goalkeeper Florencio Osasun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Florencio Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 30th minute of play. Daniel Garais made in the 32nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Venceslao Espada however managed to control. 36 minutes into the game, Daniel Garais threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Luz Tejedor quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 39 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florencio Osasun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jardel Van Landschoot came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rolando Noboa could save by the left post. Florencio Osasun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Florencio Osasun came out of the goal and Milagros Fraga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. El coca fc's Florencio Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 66th minute of play. Florencio Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 67th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Florencio Osasun in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, El coca fc's Florencio Osasun got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line.
