Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Chile's Mariano Lacasa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Januário Rangel having to make a save. 6 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Januário Rangel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Januário Rangel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Ricardo Guerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Chile booed when MEXACOMX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio-César Romo-Leroux didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Guerra got free with Thiago Pliego in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21stth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MEXACOMX's Januário Rangel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Chile got a corner. MEXACOMX's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Xavier Figueroa heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Mariano Lacasa scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Januário Rangel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Guerra in the 28th minute of play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Januário Rangel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Januário Rangel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute Ricardo Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wu Liang Mo in the 46th minute of the match. If Orlando Casaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardo Guerra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of MEXACOMX's Januário Rangel. Januário Rangel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wu Liang Mo in the 61st minute of play. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 69 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Januário Rangel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. In the 71st play minute Mariano Lacasa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Januário Rangel. 0-3. The throw-in from Julio-César Romo-Leroux in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Chile's Pedro Indiano. Pedro Indiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Januário Rangel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Jordão in the 82nd minute of the match. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Jordão in the 82nd minute of play. After 87 played minutes MEXACOMX got a freekick which was hit by Julio-César Romo-Leroux. MEXACOMX's Tomás Jordão got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomás Jordão struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MEXACOMX. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Januário Rangel having to make a save. MEXACOMX's Januário Rangel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's Tomás Jordão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Chile left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than MEXACOMX.
