Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute of the match, Cláudio Donatello got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 4 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Lima came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Leopoldo Mandrak fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bem Bolado's protests and gave Leopoldo Mandrak a yellow card for diving instead. Leopoldo Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Cláudio Donatello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Cláudio Donatello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilson Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. If Marcelinho do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Maria Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute Wilson Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. José Maria Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 36th minute of play. Wilson Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. José Maria Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 42nd minute of the match. When Rigoberto Mina fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Rigoberto Mina a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, Bem Bolado's Diego Faria got a free kick in the 54th minute. José Maria Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 55th minute of play. When Bernardo de Senna fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bem Bolado's protests and gave Bernardo de Senna a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, Bem Bolado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo de Senna to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Bem Bolado's Carlos Augusto Neto got a free kick in the 60th minute. With his leg José Maria Branco managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Donatello in the 66th minute of play. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Lima in the 72nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Leopoldo Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 84th minute of play. The shot was stopped by José Maria Branco but with some difficulty. A collision led to Bem Bolado getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Marcelinho do Valle hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 89th minute. When the final whistle went the supporters of Venezuela were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Bem Bolado side.
