Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Grabiel Escorcia started the match with the kick off. Juaneizu Merida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 8th minute of play. Grabiel Escorcia scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Nacional booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Carballar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Grabiel Escorcia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 21 minutes into the match, Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Juaneizu Merida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Nacional's Grabiel Escorcia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Grabiel Escorcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nacional's supporters rose to their feet, but Grabiel Escorcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Juaneizu Merida in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Grabiel Escorcia came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grabiel Escorcia scored 0-3 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Grabiel Escorcia came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grabiel Escorcia in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Chile's Jose Manzanedo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 44th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nacional's Grabiel Escorcia in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chile's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Lacasa to strike the kick off in the second half. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grabiel Escorcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grabiel Escorcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grabiel Escorcia in the 63rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juaneizu Merida was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juaneizu Merida having to make a save. In the 73rd minute Grabiel Escorcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juaneizu Merida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After 83 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juaneizu Merida was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Orlando Casaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Nacional booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Manzanedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Grabiel Escorcia came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Nacional players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
