Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Turabi Paksan during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Bem Bolado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Turabi Paksan to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Bem Bolado's Carlos Augusto Neto got a free kick in the 14th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Wilson Lima kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 20th minute. Cláudio Donatello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilson Lima in the 29th minute. After taking down the ball on Bem Bolado's corner Marcelinho do Valle fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. In the 40th minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 44 minutes into the match, Bem Bolado's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but José Maria Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilson Lima made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilson Lima in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 54th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute of the match Marcelinho do Valle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Alves during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper José Maria Branco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Venezuela reached it. Marcelinho do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 minutes, Jonathan Venegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Bem Bolado players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bem Bolado's José Maria Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 67th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Bem Bolado's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but José Maria Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bem Bolado's José Maria Branco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Bem Bolado from getting a goal against them. Leopoldo Mandrak's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leopoldo Mandrak helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes Bem Bolado got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Mandrak. Tomas Illescas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for José Maria Branco. Bem Bolado's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 80 played minutes Bem Bolado got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Augusto Neto. José Maria Branco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patricio Costa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 81 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with José Maria Branco in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Maria Branco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jonathan Venegas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 92 minute of play. The Venezuela supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Venezuela would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
