Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abram Sarmiento took the kick off in the first half of the match. Grabiel Escorcia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. In the 12th minute Nacional were awarded a corner. Xu Sha went to the cornerflag to take it. When Nacional's Grabiel Escorcia in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colombia's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Grabiel Escorcia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 30th minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Juaneizu Merida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Camilo Candido in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Pascual Carballar. 45 minutes into the match, Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Juaneizu Merida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Grabiel Escorcia was the one to do the kick off. After 50 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Carballar. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Joseph Gayoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nacional's supporters rose to their feet, but Joseph Gayoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juaneizu Merida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nacional's Damiano Fioravanti was substituted for Mendiko Bueres. It was a well-played corner which Luis Cazalla managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 70th minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Juaneizu Merida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Abram Secada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from Abram Secada in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Nacional's José Luis Rodríguez. Juaneizu Merida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santino Seco in the 75th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Grabiel Escorcia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 88th minute, Abram Secada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.
