After 17 minutes, Camilo Gaos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the The Oudsberg Wolves players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of The Oudsberg Wolves booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Dominick Antheunis put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dominick Antheunis in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Dominick Antheunis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. When Tomas Illescas fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Tomas Illescas a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. In the 32nd minute, Dominick Antheunis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Oudsberg Wolves fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After 37 played minutes The Oudsberg Wolves got a freekick which was hit by Gwenn Celis. The supporters of The Oudsberg Wolves booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by The Oudsberg Wolves's Dominick Antheunis. But to his dismay, Dominick Antheunis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After the first half The Oudsberg Wolves were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Dominick Antheunis put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dominick Antheunis got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Gwenn Celis took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. In the 76th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Benny Vanhove's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 89th minute, The Oudsberg Wolves's Dominick Antheunis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. The supporters of Venezuela booed when The Oudsberg Wolves was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benny Vanhove didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Dominick Antheunis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. The Oudsberg Wolves's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
