Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vinícius Juniors got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carolo Camaño. In the 5th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Ugonotti's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Adriano De Carolis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Rabelani Thebile stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Rabelani Thebile tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ugonotti's Adriano De Carolis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute Vinícius Juniors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Carolo Camaño tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Ugonotti's Rolando Noboa threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vinícius Juniors, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half Peru were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Balázs Sass got a throw-in 82 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Yu Wei Bo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Tenorio got free with Adriano De Carolis in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
