An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Fernandino in the 9th minute of play forced CENTAURO's goalkeeper Astor Fernanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Luis Rubio in the 13th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by CENTAURO's Abel Roland. After some careless play in the CENTAURO defense, Moises Fernandino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Astor Fernanco. The CENTAURO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Astor Fernanco should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Moises Fernandino notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of CENTAURO's Astor Fernanco. Astor Fernanco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of CENTAURO booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentino Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, CENTAURO's Abel Roland broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Astor Fernanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Fernandino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Magrina helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Magrina to maneuver through the defense. When Joel Balendin came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the CENTAURO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Balendin couldn't finish the play. The goalkeeper, Astor Fernanco, was totally fooled by El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo, who 96 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The CENTAURO fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. El Salvador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
