Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita made the kick off and thus started the match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Micael Torcato having to interfere. Micael Torcato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 8 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Micael Torcato was left in no man's land by his defense there! GD Almargense's Micael Torcato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, GD Almargense's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Micael Torcato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Micael Torcato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, GD Almargense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Madruga to maneuver through the defense. Micael Torcato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play. Micael Torcato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Sebastián Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, GD Almargense's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Micael Torcato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Seabra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GD Almargense were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rogério Campos took the corner. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luciano Rodríguez to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Micael Torcato when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Ecuador booed when GD Almargense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adão Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Micael Torcato was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to GD Almargense getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Luciano Rodríguez hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Micael Torcato. That made the score 0-3 in the 62 minute of play. In the 65th minute, Laureano Madruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Rodríguez in the 68th minute of the match. Micael Torcato made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, GD Almargense's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Micael Torcato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. A collision led to GD Almargense getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Lázaro Seabra hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Micael Torcato. GD Almargense's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After having played for 85 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Micael Torcato was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th minute, Agustín Saelices ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Micael Torcato was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The GD Almargense fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
