Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Nichifor Codruț made the kick off and thus started the match. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C.BARLAD's Valentin Verzea. But to his dismay, Valentin Verzea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nichifor Codruț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the game, Nichifor Codruț cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Braulio Castel sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nichifor Codruț in the 23rd minute of play. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. F.C.BARLAD's Nichifor Codruț got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nichifor Codruț scored 0-4 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Nichifor Codruț got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute, Lautaro Puig had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Adam Gheorghiță fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C.BARLAD's protests and gave Adam Gheorghiță a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, F.C.BARLAD's Adam Gheorghiță got a free kick in the 38th minute. After 42 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. In the 43rd minute, Nichifor Codruț left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C.BARLAD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichifor Codruț in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. Niculae Isvoreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 51st minute of the match. The supporters of F.C.BARLAD booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute Nichifor Codruț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Verzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nichifor Codruț in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. After 57 minutes, Alan Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the F.C.BARLAD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 played minutes, F.C.BARLAD's Dumitru Surdu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in F.C.BARLAD reached it. Nichifor Codruț blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Efrain Moruga hit a great ball. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Nichifor Codruț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Nichifor Codruț sent off a good shot on target. Alfredo Zoido kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Codruț, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Braulio Castel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Sanz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when F.C.BARLAD's Braulio Castel shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-6 in the ordered_time% minute. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Nichifor Codruț capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nichifor Codruț really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Nichifor Codruț could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. After 89 minutes, Nichifor Codruț made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 92 minutes into the game, F.C.BARLAD's Nichifor Codruț nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9.
