Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. CRS Pogoń Barlinek's Wincent Rode got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 6th minute Gilbert Dziurowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, CRS Pogoń Barlinek's goalkeeper Evert Telin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Evert Telin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute Wincent Rode shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 played minutes CRS Pogoń Barlinek got a freekick which was hit by Gustaw Zielinski. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Evert Telin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 minutes of play, CRS Pogoń Barlinek's Wincent Rode made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in CRS Pogoń Barlinek's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evert Telin came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bogumil Pochorylo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Mexico booed when CRS Pogoń Barlinek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wincent Rode didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evert Telin. CRS Pogoń Barlinek's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wincent Rode in the 59th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Evert Telin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Facundo Cadaval kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Evert Telin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, CRS Pogoń Barlinek's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Evert Telin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 played minutes CRS Pogoń Barlinek got a freekick which was hit by Bogumil Pochorylo. When Felix Luque fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Felix Luque a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of CRS Pogoń Barlinek booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. CRS Pogoń Barlinek's Evert Telin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 82nd minute of play. Evert Telin came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 87th minute Zbigniew Dziurowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of CRS Pogoń Barlinek for a fine match.
