Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Gaona got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Moreno Martins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CERRO PORTEÑO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when 王树帆 came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 王树帆 in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. In the 10thth minute of the game 王树帆 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. CERRO PORTEÑO's Cãlin Damaschin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save CERRO PORTEÑO from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when 王树帆 came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis in the 21st minute of play. In the 26th minute 王树帆 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Maldini in the 30th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Cãlin Damaschin however easily saved by the left post. After 34 minutes of play, CERRO PORTEÑO's Moreno Martins made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Cãlin Damaschin in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Barto Crespo fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CERRO PORTEÑO's protests and gave Barto Crespo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, one of CERRO PORTEÑO:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CERRO PORTEÑO.

The wind increased when 王树帆 made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Mexico booed when CERRO PORTEÑO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. 王树帆 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, CERRO PORTEÑO's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Cãlin Damaschin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to CERRO PORTEÑO getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Edward Spets hit a great ball. Cãlin Damaschin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 59th minute of the match. When Moreno Martins came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the CERRO PORTEÑO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moreno Martins couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in CERRO PORTEÑO's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cãlin Damaschin came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, CERRO PORTEÑO's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Cãlin Damaschin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CERRO PORTEÑO made a substitution. Alan Paredes replaced 王树帆. 78 minutes into the match, CERRO PORTEÑO's Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Cãlin Damaschin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by CERRO PORTEÑO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cãlin Damaschin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Cãlin Damaschin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
