Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) TRAFFIC FC's Garth Basham started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerardo Claus got free with Julio Vera in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 7thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TRAFFIC FC's 于铮誉 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, TRAFFIC FC's Panagiotis Baltas tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of TRAFFIC FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tzvetan Búnev hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panagiotis Baltas in the 16th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garth Basham couldn't finish the play. Gerardo Claus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. 于铮誉 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 46th play minute Gerardo Claus came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Julio Vera. 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. TRAFFIC FC's 于铮誉 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save TRAFFIC FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Gerardo Claus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gerardo Claus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 于铮誉 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Claus in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute Gerardo Claus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, TRAFFIC FC's 于铮誉 got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Claus in the 89th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. TRAFFIC FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
