Téo Campidelis hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Seco in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomé Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Magno Nunes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. After 31 minutes of play, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Caco Guimarães made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Tomé Oliveira made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Camilo Covarrubias got a free kick in the 45th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Sandro Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Sandro Alvarenga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Tomé Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 81st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caco Guimarães during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
