Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. In the 11th minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Cãlin Damaschin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 21st minute of play forced CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Cãlin Damaschin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Peru's Luz Tejedor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cãlin Damaschin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cãlin Damaschin made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cãlin Damaschin having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Cãlin Damaschin in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 47 minutes into the match, Peru's Moises Gayoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cãlin Damaschin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 任棋振 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Peru's Luz Tejedor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cãlin Damaschin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 61 minutes, Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CERRO PORTEÑO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cãlin Damaschin was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After 65 minutes CERRO PORTEÑO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Peru's Milagros Fraga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cãlin Damaschin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. CERRO PORTEÑO's 王树帆 was substituted for Alan Paredes. Cãlin Damaschin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 69th minute of the match. When Milagros Fraga came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milagros Fraga couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 77th minute of play forced CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Cãlin Damaschin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 王树帆, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Julian Murillo scored 2-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cãlin Damaschin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. In the 86th minute, Rafael Gallo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eliseo Mina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cãlin Damaschin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 王树帆 in the 94th minute of the match.
