Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Seco started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute Magno Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Magno Nunes in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomé Oliveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Tomé Oliveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Nunes in the 18th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Seco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Tomé Oliveira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot 28 in the game by Francisco Seco from a close distance when the talented Tomé Oliveira managed to make a qualified save. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s players were relieved. Francisco Seco had several of the Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Tomé Oliveira as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 31 minutes, Albertinho de Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Albertinho de Andrade hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Tomé Oliveira acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 32nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jaime Cazalla. In the 33rd minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magno Nunes in the 41st minute of play. Maximiliano Escribano hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Magno Nunes was the one to do the kick off. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Tomé Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 51st minute of play. Maximiliano Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé Oliveira having to interfere. Téo Campidelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquin Gayoso had great luck who in the 73rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Caco Guimarães from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Téo Campidelis sent off a good shot on target. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sandro Alvarenga, made in the 83rd minute of the game. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caco Guimarães blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caco Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Gisbert during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 89 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Gisbert. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Uruguay.
