Leo Dauwen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 14th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leo Dauwen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Boruc Wykowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoud Van Gestel came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Bacardi FC's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arnoud Van Gestel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bob Leerbels got free with Dante Lacasa in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoud Van Gestel in the 24th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Bacardi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Leo Dauwen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bacardi FC's Leo Dauwen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 27th minute of play. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Bob Leerbels sent off a good shot on target. Charlie Vercalsteren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. A collision led to Bacardi FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Boruc Wykowski hit a great ball. Joel Gaona took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leo Dauwen. Bacardi FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Bacardi FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jimmy Wiklund hit a great ball.

Bacardi FC's Leo Dauwen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Bacardi FC from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bob Leerbels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bob Leerbels in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Arnoud Van Gestel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Arnoud Van Gestel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bacardi FC's Cornelis Rondas was substituted for Roy Voet. In the 61st minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leo Dauwen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Vercalsteren in the 65th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Joel Gaona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Dauwen was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Luca Rouco kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After 74 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Rouco. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roni Coryn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76thth minute of the game Alberto Tafalla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bacardi FC's Leo Dauwen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roni Coryn, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 80th minute of play forced Bacardi FC's goalkeeper Leo Dauwen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Bacardi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Leo Dauwen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Leo Dauwen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 92 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Vercalsteren came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 97th minute. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leo Dauwen quite easily take care of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mexico had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
