Giacomo Casanova didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 11 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Giacomo Casanova reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Luz Tejedor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Montesacro FC's Giacomo Casanova did a great save. 18 minutes into the game, Loco Palermo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giacomo Casanova made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 26th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paolo Rossi in the 27th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Loco Palermo came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Montesacro FC were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juliusz Julien took the corner. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montesacro FC's goalkeeper Giacomo Casanova, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 45 minutes Montesacro FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Luz Tejedor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Montesacro FC's Giacomo Casanova did a great save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Loco Palermo made a kick off. Montesacro FC's Giacomo Casanova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 62nd minute of play. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Loco Palermo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loco Palermo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When Montesacro FC's Loco Palermo in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peru's goalie prevented a goal. Montesacro FC's Giacomo Casanova proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Montesacro FC from getting a goal against them. Giacomo Casanova showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Giacomo Casanova reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Anthony Alvarado hit a great ball.
