Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. David Seaman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute. Felix Montenegro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. David Seaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of Linghed Angels FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jörgen Magnusson. Linghed Angels FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Victor Malmberg in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play forced Linghed Angels FC's goalkeeper David Seaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Ødegaard's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Ødegaard helped the player get up and apologised. Martin Ødegaard hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Per Mertesacker hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Seaman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Seaman having to interfere. David Seaman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 57th minute. In the 63rdth minute of the game Fu Ling who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fu Ling in the 71st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Fu Ling's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute of the match Victor Malmberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. After 90 minutes, Per Mertesacker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Linghed Angels FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Per Mertesacker kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
