Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jaime Pardo got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Matthias Reiter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ole Per Köppen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Pardo in the 8th minute. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Hansa's Matthias Reiter. But to his dismay, Matthias Reiter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Filiberto Jakobe fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Hansa's protests and gave Filiberto Jakobe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Filiberto Jakobe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joost Schlüter's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. The supporters of Paraguay booed when KFC Hansa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loy Schwerinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthias Reiter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Paraguay were awarded a corner. Jaime Pardo went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Hector Covarrubias got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ole Per Köppen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ole Per Köppen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ole Per Köppen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Xavier Zoido kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 41st match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Zoido to maneuver through the defense. Oliver Scholl, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 46th minute, Jaime Pardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 47 minutes, Loy Schwerinski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KFC Hansa and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Loy Schwerinski kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After the first half KFC Hansa were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joost Schlüter made a kick off. Matthias Reiter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaime Pardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ole Per Köppen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime Pardo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 64th match minute, KFC Hansa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Jakobe to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ole Per Köppen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 78 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Pardo. After 81 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Zoido. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joost Schlüter in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 88th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Venegas to maneuver through the defense. KFC Hansa were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Paraguay's much stronger midfield.
