The referee ignored Lyon Olympique 69's protests and gave Alexander Driel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, Lyon Olympique 69 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Driel to maneuver through the defense. Lyon Olympique 69's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
