Michael Iurisch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Napoleon Dziatkowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Praski in the 52nd minute of play. Tytus Kisielka hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jagiellonia Bialystok were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabian Sienkiewicz took the corner. The corner ended in Fabian Sienkiewicz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. 60 minutes into the match, Jagiellonia Bialystok's goalkeeper Michael Iurisch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Tytus Kisielka made in the 62nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Michael Iurisch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jagiellonia Bialystok made a substitution. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Napoleon Dziatkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Zbyszek Budzynski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot.
