An unexpectedly hard shot by 邵城邦 in the 66th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stasio Burdzel in the 68th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, De krokante kroketjes's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Mickael De Koster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Peru's Mickael De Koster threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Milagros Fraga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Tejedor got free with Mickael De Koster in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
