Isak Jacobsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovanildo Luis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Digital Monsterz FC's Christer Nyberg got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Haji Sarap had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leandro Heidemann. Leandro Heidemann's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Haji Sarap skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 25th minute of the match, Leandro Heidemann got a very nice opportunity to score, but Haji Sarap was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Leandro Heidemann kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Haji Sarap. That made the score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Digital Monsterz FC's Leandro Heidemann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Haji Sarap narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 34 minutes Joinville City - FSCMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Birger Spetz who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in Digital Monsterz FC's zone, Geovanildo Luis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isak Jacobsson came out of the goal and Geovanildo Luis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the match, Leandro Heidemann notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Joinville City - FSCMZ's Haji Sarap. Haji Sarap was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Digital Monsterz FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Joinville City - FSCMZ for a fine match.
