Felippe Vianna hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Hugo Ferrant in the 12th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Floresta Club U18's Cafu Tinoco. Hugo Ferrant made in the 15th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lautaro Puig immediately put the ball in play. Lautaro Puig made in the 18th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Floresta Club U18's Felippe Vianna. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Hugo Ferrant got a free kick in the 24th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant threw the ball into play from the sideline. Floresta Club U18's Jardel da Silveira quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 32 minutes into the game, Efrain Moruga threw the ball into play from the sideline. Floresta Club U18's Hudson de Souza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Hugo Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Hudson de Souza was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Vianna in the 43rd minute of play. Maurício Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurício Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Rubio in the 45th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Jeremias Peixoto made the kick off in the second half. Efrain Moruga made in the 59th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eliseo Noboa immediately put the ball in play. Maurício Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 61st minute of the match. Eliseo Noboa struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Maurício Araújo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. With his leg Maurício Araújo managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Costa Rica's Axel Tasis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Floresta Club U18's Hudson de Souza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Efrain Moruga, made in the 67th minute of the game. Jonas de Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Floresta Club U18's attentive Agnaldo Vaz managed to snatch the ball when Hugo Ferrant made a throw-in in the 76th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 84th minute. After 86 minutes, Hugo Ferrant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Floresta Club U18 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 87 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ferrant. With a little luck, Floresta Club U18's Maurício Araújo got control of the ball when Axel Tasis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Efrain Moruga got a throw-in 95 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Eliseo Noboa. Costa Rica succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Floresta Club U18 had controlled the match.
