Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arne Back took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of play forced Mountainhammer United's goalkeeper Roar Klev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Arne Back notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roar Klev was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roar Klev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Mårten Olsman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 2-1. If Arne Back had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Mountainhammer United were awarded a corner. Mårten Olsman went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Aron Blom. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Roar Klev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 47th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.

Roar Klev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 52nd minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Back, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roar Klev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 68th minute. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoffer Häll, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Roar Klev made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Luis Andinos short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Roar Klev to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 80 in the game by Luis Andino from a close distance when the talented Roar Klev managed to make a qualified save. Mountainhammer United's players were relieved. After 83 minutes, Agustín Saelices mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Mountainhammer United players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. Eric Gummeson kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Cristian Sancho fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Roar Klev, passed just outside the right post. Roar Klev was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Daniel Zorita. The Mountainhammer United support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
