Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute, Club Atletico y B. Bell's David Bemabe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Dario Dino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Efrain Moruga hit a great ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Bale in the 12th minute of play. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janusz Seliga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 16 minutes, David Bemabe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico y B. Bell's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Bemabe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Dino in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Gaudencio Feo made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 23 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Janusz Seliga came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Tasis to maneuver through the defense. Dario Dino was extremely unlucky when he, in the 27th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 30 minutes into the game, Club Atletico y B. Bell's Dario Dino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 33rd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Carballo to maneuver through the defense. Walter Gasteiz, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Dario Dino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 4-0. Janusz Seliga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Janusz Seliga slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute Dario Dino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Leonides Jatsu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Mohamed Bale put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. In the 85th minute, David Bemabe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico y B. Bell fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. In the 88th minute Mohamed Bale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Atletico y B. Bell's Leonides Jatsu got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Club Atletico y B. Bell players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
