Arjen Rodenboog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Buitenhout FC's Arjen Rodenboog got control of the ball when Isidoro Sarmiento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alex Cambeiro struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Arjen Rodenboog didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arjen Rodenboog having to interfere. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Arjen Rodenboog made a huge save. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arjen Rodenboog came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Berganza slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Arjen Rodenboog to make any attempt to save it. After 34 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. Buitenhout FC's Arjen Rodenboog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, one of Buitenhout FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Buitenhout FC. The referee gave Panama a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Abraham Alguacil, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Buitenhout FC's Arjen Rodenboog. 3-0. In the 46th minute, Abraham Alguacil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arjen Rodenboog was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Buitenhout FC's goalkeeper Arjen Rodenboog, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abraham Alguacil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arjen Rodenboog having to make a save. After 59 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. After having played for 62 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento made a precise shot to the right of Arjen Rodenboog. Buitenhout FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 69th minute, Abraham Alguacil made a precise shot to the right of Arjen Rodenboog. Buitenhout FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaap Borgman got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
