Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Patricio Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ragnar Hagberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 8th minute, Tor-Henrik Økland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guillermo Mariano made in the 10th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tomas Illescas immediately put the ball in play. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cheeky Nuts United's Ragnar Hagberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joshua Secada in the 20th minute of play. Ragnar Hagberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ragnar Hagberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ragnar Hagberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Theodor Selnes made a kick off. Ragnar Hagberg made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 57th minute of play forced Cheeky Nuts United's goalkeeper Ragnar Hagberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillermo Mariano made in the 59th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tomas Illescas. 60 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ragnar Hagberg, 0-6. Ragnar Hagberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 68th minute of play. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hauk Horne in the 70 minute of the game. In the 73rd minute of the game Camilo Gaos made a throw-in which Tomas Illescas played forward. After some careless play in the Cheeky Nuts United defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ragnar Hagberg. The Cheeky Nuts United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ragnar Hagberg should have stopped the shot. Joshua Secada hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. After 91 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. When the match was over Venezuela could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cheeky Nuts United throughout the match.
