Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gottfrid Hedström was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 7th minute, Besim Vecdet made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 9 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Alvarado. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 17th minute of play forced ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's goalkeeper Gottfrid Hedström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gottfrid Hedström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 18th minute of play. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 19th minute. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Besim Vecdet in the 21st minute. Gottfrid Hedström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Ray Atkins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stasio Plachetka's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. The supporters of Peru booed when ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tassos Poulakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gottfrid Hedström came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Milagros Fraga. But to his dismay, Milagros Fraga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Stasio Plachetka tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th match minute, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fotis Theofilopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Gottfrid Hedström came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4.

Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Besim Vecdet in the 54th minute of play. Gottfrid Hedström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 57th minute of the match. Luz Tejedor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gottfrid Hedström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Oliver Bogren was substituted for Slawomir Fujara. With a little luck, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Gottfrid Hedström got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peru were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. 72 minutes into the match, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Gottfrid Hedström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Prats. After a rather tough play, Peru's Joaquin Prats got a free kick in the 74th minute. After having played for 78 minutes, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milagros Fraga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th match minute, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ray Atkins to maneuver through the defense. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ertan Duman in the 83rd minute of play. Ertan Duman scored 3-4 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ertan Duman took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-4. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
