After 18 minutes of play, FV Wienerwald's Anfilogino Alfonsi made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hamilton Carvalhal in the 21st minute. 25 minutes into the match, Anfilogino Alfonsi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anfilogino Alfonsi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anfilogino Alfonsi in the 35th minute of play. Felix Hanschirik came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anfilogino Alfonsi to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anfilogino Alfonsi in the 56th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Per Nienhaus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Per Nienhaus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Nienhaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. When Célio Nogueira, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 78 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jonathan Ferrant was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Kim Rehmer got a throw-in 81 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Rudolf Reichert. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per Nienhaus's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute FV Wienerwald were awarded a corner. Ralf Szüczs went to the cornerflag to take it. There was no doubt that FV Wienerwald were the better team. FV Wienerwald's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
