The audience was convinced that Sergen Kutsalan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Barreiros in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Sergen Kutsalan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Calentura's goalkeeper Vacid Seralp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergen Kutsalan in the 34th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Calentura getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Arboleda Santavida hit a great ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sergen Kutsalan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Galdo in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 58th minute of play forced Calentura's goalkeeper Vacid Seralp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vacid Seralp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa scored 1-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vacid Seralp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. He walked away shaking his head. When Mariano Lacasa came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. Luciano Barreiros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Pliego having to make a save. In the 85th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Calentura's Vacid Seralp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 90th minute of play. When Cristian Coria came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Calentura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Coria couldn't finish the play.
