Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Donato Botelho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Magno Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 16th minute of play forced Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goalkeeper Tomé Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Caco Guimarães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Magno Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Sandro Alvarenga got a free kick in the 27th minute. Magno Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Tomé Oliveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. from getting a goal against them. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Tomas Illescas scored to the left of an out of position Tomé Oliveira, making the score, 1-2. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caco Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sandro Alvarenga took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Sandro Alvarenga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 44 minutes into the game, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Caco Guimarães nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Caco Guimarães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Caco Guimarães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After some careless play in the Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. defense, Patricio Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomé Oliveira. The Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomé Oliveira should have stopped the shot. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomé Oliveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomé Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Illescas scored 3-3 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomé Oliveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Magno Nunes notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute, Magno Nunes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-5. In the 88th minute, Patricio Costa made a precise shot to the right of Tomé Oliveira. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-5. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Magno Nunes in the 95th minute.
