Tello AFC's Martin Billing managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Moises Gayoso in the 24 minute of the game. In the 25th minute Uriel Cordearo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lázaro Garcia in the 27 minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmacio Pello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dalmacio Pello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tello AFC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Pello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Peru fully deserved thier win.
