Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) FC Hiiu Pallurid's attentive Kunnar Leks managed to snatch the ball when Salvador Gisbert made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 7th minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when FC Hiiu Pallurid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kunnar Leks didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute of the match Tomas Illescas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marko Meerits showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 17th minute, FC Hiiu Pallurid's Merdan Abesadze dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 24 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marko Meerits made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Vytautas Kalasiūnas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Vytautas Kalasiūnas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Merdan Abesadze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Merdan Abesadze sent off a good shot on target. 40 minutes into the match, FC Hiiu Pallurid's Merdan Abesadze sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Vytautas Kalasiūnas came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the FC Hiiu Pallurid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vytautas Kalasiūnas couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vytautas Kalasiūnas in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Merdan Abesadze to make the kick off. When Vytautas Kalasiūnas came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the FC Hiiu Pallurid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vytautas Kalasiūnas couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Merdan Abesadze, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Merdan Abesadze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Merdan Abesadze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Vytautas Kalasiūnas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Hiiu Pallurid's supporters rose to their feet, but Vytautas Kalasiūnas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julius Talumets kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Hiiu Pallurid's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marko Meerits in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Tomas Illescas took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Marko Meerits to make any attempt to save it. Marko Meerits made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 84th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vytautas Kalasiūnas in the 93rd minute of play. Although FC Hiiu Pallurid had been in control for most of the match, Venezuela still came away with the win.
