Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Víktor Muli in the 6th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anthon Nordin got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute Víktor Muli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anthon Nordin in the 12th minute. In the 17th minute of the match Flodde CFC got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stefan Nyström ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 19 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henry Ekman was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Venezuela booed when Flodde CFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ture Sandström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anthon Nordin scored 1-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ture Sandström got a throw-in 32 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Stig-Ove Britz. Víktor Muli succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. In the 40th minute, Ture Sandström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henry Ekman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Henry Ekman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Víktor Muli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Henry Ekman managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Henry Ekman made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Flodde CFC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Víktor Muli hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Víktor Muli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Illescas came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Henry Ekman could save by the left post. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Illescas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Henry Ekman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Víktor Muli scored 4-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jan Ålberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Henry Ekman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. After having played for 96 minutes, Stig-Ove Britz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flodde CFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig-Ove Britz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Flodde CFC had played much better football throughout.
