An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 14th minute of play forced Flodde CFC's goalkeeper Henry Ekman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Stig-Ove Britz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flodde CFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. After a rather tough play, Flodde CFC's Stig-Ove Britz got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 24th minute, Stevie Méthot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Ekman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig-Ove Britz hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Ekman having to interfere. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Henry Ekman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Stig-Ove Britz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Stig-Ove Britz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Víktor Muli got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute, Anthon Nordin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flodde CFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Víktor Muli to strike the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Víktor Muli in the 51st minute of play. If Víktor Muli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ture Sandström charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ture Sandström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Flodde CFC's Ture Sandström got a free kick in the 57th minute. Stig-Ove Britz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henry Ekman having to make a save. Henry Ekman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 81st minute. 86 minutes into the match, Flodde CFC's Anthon Nordin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 90 minutes into the game, Flodde CFC's Jan Ålberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Víktor Muli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Anthon Nordin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Anthon Nordin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Flodde CFC had played much better football throughout.
