Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Undertakers FC's Teddy Lapp started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kristof Øsby's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kristof Øsby helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Undertakers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristof Øsby didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Axel Tasis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Calle Burglin. The goal made the score 1-0. Costa Rica's Efrain Moruga shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 9th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Calle Burglin but with some difficulty. When Claes Pein fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Undertakers FC's protests and gave Claes Pein a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Undertakers FC's Kristof Øsby got a free kick in the 14th minute. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great ball. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Calle Burglin came out and tried to block the shot, but Eliseo Noboa slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 22nd minute. Verner Lindhagen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theis Hikon in the 33rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Tasis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 53rd minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calle Burglin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 minutes of play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Calle Burglin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 63 minutes into the match, Undertakers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Calle Burglin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Lautaro Puig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Calle Burglin. Undertakers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Puig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 69th minute, Eliseo Noboa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Calle Burglin was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teddy Lapp in the 76th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Eliseo Noboa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Costa Rica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Verner Lindhagen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
