Sylwester Tamulewicz had in the 17thth minute some difficulties stopping Tomas Illescas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 19 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sylwester Tamulewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd match minute, FA Sandtown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beniamin Zdeb to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mieszko Mikulski during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sylwester Tamulewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ludomil Gregorczyk came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Sylwester Tamulewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 56th minute of play. Ludomil Gregorczyk hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 60th minute of play forced FA Sandtown's goalkeeper Sylwester Tamulewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sylwester Tamulewicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Beniamin Zdeb during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FA Sandtown's Beniamin Zdeb got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Mieszko Mikulski kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, FA Sandtown's Olgierd Hodas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Olgierd Hodas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FA Sandtown protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Olgierd Hodas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The long shot by Tomas Illescas in the 95th minute really tested Sylwester Tamulewicz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When the match was over Venezuela could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FA Sandtown throughout the match.
