In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 13 minutes in the game, Braulio Orixe dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Primitivo Andino charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Primitivo Andino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Orixe in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Unai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CA Bizcochito de Hur's Freddy Unai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save CA Bizcochito de Hur from getting a goal against them. Braulio Orixe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 29th minute of play forced CA Bizcochito de Hur's goalkeeper Freddy Unai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Braulio Orixe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Orixe in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Braulio Orixe made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Orixe in the 35th minute of play. Braulio Orixe struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Bizcochito de Hur. In the 45th minute Braulio Orixe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Braulio Orixe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Braulio Orixe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 60th minute of the game was made by Primitivo Andino with Agustín Saelices as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 63rd match minute, CA Bizcochito de Hur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 朱凌 to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. CA Bizcochito de Hur made a substitution. Silvestre Macerio replaced Braulio Orixe. In the 67th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Silvestre Macerio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 0-2. After a rather tough play, CA Bizcochito de Hur's Domingo Cordarrell got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvestre Macerio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 85th minute. CA Bizcochito de Hur's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silvestre Macerio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 94 minute of play.
