Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vilmantas Matulas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of play forced FC Žalia Giria's goalkeeper Vilmantas Matulas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Žalia Giria's Vilmantas Matulas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 38th minute of play. Avram Lupoaia's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Avram Lupoaia helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of FC Žalia Giria:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. The referee gave Ecuador a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Daniel Zorita, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Žalia Giria's Vilmantas Matulas. 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saúl Gentiletti to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vilmantas Matulas. Vilmantas Matulas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erikas Kiškunas during the 57th minute. In the 80th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Žalia Giria's Vilmantas Matulas did a great save. With his leg Vilmantas Matulas managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 82 minutes into the match, FC Žalia Giria's goalkeeper Vilmantas Matulas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Vilmantas Matulas was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-8. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Vilmantas Matulas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Grealish, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Grealish came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
